About the role

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our SaaS platform’s infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless performance. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based architecture
• Automate workflows to optimize deployment and system performance
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for faster, more efficient releases
• Monitor and improve system reliability with proactive strategies

Your expertise in cloud environments, automation, and security will be key to delivering a high-performing, reliable SaaS solution for our customers.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer at FutureIK, you will play a vital role in optimizing our development processes, infrastructure, and security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building & Implementing new development tools and infrastructure
• Automating & Enhancing development and release workflows
• Analyzing & Improving existing technology, processes, and scalability
• Testing & Examining code to ensure performance and efficiency
• Ensuring Security by protecting systems against cyber security threats
• Identifying & Resolving technical issues with software updates and fixes
• Collaborating with engineers to maintain critical hardware and software
• Partnering with project management teams to track progress and execution

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join FutureIK. The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
• Strong understanding of system security best practices
• Professional experience with various operating systems and their implications
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration
• Good knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
• Working knowledge of databases & SQL for system integrations
• A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
• A collaborative team spirit to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Leadership skills in project development and team building
• Experience in project organization and execution
